Kind of starting to like Whaleshares.//Steem on?

So basically... Something weird has started to happen. Im starting to like Whaleshares of all things. 😅

Ive been posting there for quite a while now. I dont think i was there from week 1 but i think i was a pretty early adopter.
What i basically do there is repost the stuff i write for Steem and comment.

Still, i often find myself browsing Whaleshares and reading up on stuff folks i follow here write about.
The question really being:

if you follow the same folks here why not just check your Steem feed instead?

And thats a good question. The answer being that when i browse and read the stuff people i follow write about..... i like to be relaxed....
Lately, i havent felt that way here. Stupid drama poping up, who said what to whom and for what reason.
"Bernie flagged me because of reasons, Haejin doesnt like my face, Ftg believes in aliens, This guy called me names. Etc."
And now with the Steem Alliance thing and the drama there...

I just cant be bothered...

People seem to be unable to disassociate themselves from whats going on with Steemit.inc or with steem drama. It affects them significantly so it affects the general sentiment on chain.

Whaleshares for all its flaws and being worth like 3 cents seems much more casual and layed back.
On Steem most of the time people are either in your face over some dumb internet drama or dont really give two shits about you.
Many seem to be chasing that recognition, attention,a few more $$$. That next "big thing" that will place them in the spotlight to be noticed by Kpine, Blocktrades, or one of those whales that use their stake to upvote others.

And im here standing in the corner thinking up penis jokes.

I mean, not everyone has to be that "crude", but my point is that everything here has been feeling tense, calculated, boiling ready to explode...

I dont do drugs but some marihuana might be good for the Steem blockchain.
Just not for Steemit.inc. Theyre inert as is. Haha

So what do you guys that use both platforms think?
Does Steem have a Stinc too far up its butt?
