The problem is, I technically don't own a handbag. I mean I do but I don't use it. So instead, I decided to take some pictures of the content of my most beloved travel companion: My backpack.
So let's start with what's in the sides!
"Did you know it would rain?" She asked. We just told her that, in Germany, you should always have an umbrella with you.
Next compartment, the tiny one!
My glasses (which make me look super professional, but I only need them when I'm staring at the computer all day. So ... always), pack of tissues (it's always flu season for me), Bluetooth headphones, a 200 mg Ibuprofen for unexpected migraines (I'm super sensitive to pain meds), a lighter (most biologists don't smoke but we always need fire for something else), ear plugs in a fancy net-pocket and my two cents.
Next compartment!
Workout clothes, because I go to the gym before lab, my beloved tablet PC which I use more for drawing than the scientific stuff I promised my mom, the charger for it, a hairbrush, writing pad and not one but two pens, because you never know when one might break.
And the last compartment contains ... not much actually, just the rest of my workout stuff.
Shampoo and shower gel in the plastic bag, together with the towel. Another towel for inside the gym, a pair of lifting gloves and a pair of "soft" shoes (I have no idea what they're called in English).
Now, please don't ask me to empty my pockets because I think there will be about the same amount of stuff again, just smaller. I tend to wear skinny men's jeans because the pockets in women's jeans are a disgrace.

Ooh, that's the reason it looks a bit special. I've had an old laptop (from 7-10 years ago) which looked a bit similar. However, as your laptop is flippable like that I understand why it's built that way.

woohoo, that is one hell of a bag show! We call the soft shoes jiffy's here in Australia! That was a brand of ballet kind of shoes, in fact I often carry a pair if the occasion forces me to wear heels. I always pack my jiffies to swap into in the middle of the event!!

You need to get your immune system stronger... maybe better nutrition? I used to be sick once a year, ever since i started eating right and exercising i haven't been sick, 4 years without sickness!
Maybe it's lack of vitamin D... germans usually have a lack of vitamin D because of the weather, it really strengthens your immune system, i get plenty of sun and i always take my daily vit D.

woow women, you need to get your hypersensitivity in check, soo many allergies! I think i'm only allergic to nickel, the most stupid thing i can be allergic to i know, but when i use belts in the summer i get a rash because of the damn thing.

Those are actually my only allergies, I count myself lucky. No food allergies and technically, my pollen allergy isn't too bad. Only slightly itchy eyes and a runny nose, there's worse.

Not gonna lie, that bag is sexy as heck! When I went on the west coast trail hike a couple of years back I borrowed a 60+10L Vaude bag and have to say it was probably one of the comfiest bags I had ever hiked with (my mec bag had tore open a couple of weeks prior and I wasn't ready to spend 150-250 on a bag for a trip that was already costing $1400)

Have you considered carrying handkerchiefs instead of tissues? I've eliminated my dependency on facial tissues and just toss them in the wash so my mucus goes god knows where.
