@simonleach, good video, now it's clear how to do it ;-)

Thanks for commenting ...yes this to teach folks the basics of cylinder making.

Simon, thank you for yet another great video. I learn so much from you!! Wish I had the funds and ability to get out to one of your weekend classes I would love it!! I really like this video because it goes step by step rather slowly so even I can get a better grasp of it. One question, where is Barryville? Would that be Barryville, NY by any chance? By the way, I came on here because you suggested it in one of your videos. Today is my first day!! Thanks!!

Yes Barryville NY, but am not there now, but in central PA , Millheim 16854. Glad you ventured over here to Steemit ! Remember quality posts, upvote and make comments, gain followers, earn some 'steem'

My uncle John owned a place on RT 97 in Barryville across from the firehouse. He died in the 70s but I loved going to Barryville and up to Eldred where my ancestors were from. Beautiful area!! I have also been near your neck of the woods in PA. Small world!

Oh wow you know Barryville ! Yes that's where i landed when I dropped into the US ! Spent a year there and shopped up at Peck's !

I grew up in Port Jervis, but spent a lot of time in Barryville and Eldred. My mom's side of the family were from Eldred, at least all the way back to the early 1800s. How did you wind up in Barryville? Wish I could move back there, I miss the mountains, rivers, brooks and the woods. Spent a lot of time walking through the woods between Eldred and Barryville when I was a kid. Loved it!!
