Gratitude (poem)

in wherein •  4 years ago

Dawn dawned, I am grateful for life,
in prayer, I manifest myself,
and in God, I faithfully establish myself,
the hours of the day go on,
their love and forgiveness do not give up,
his blessings haunt me.
I happily dispose myself,
to listen to you placidly,
my God, in me I want to have you.
My soul cries out for your goodness,
like the thirsty, water for mercy,
my heart begs with humility,
your forgiveness and love without distinction,
you are the reason for my adoration,
my God, in you is my salvation.
