Yes, yes, I'm a day late, but who cares? I took this picture last night when I properly celebrated my 1000th follower on Steemit with a Lagavulin 16 years old whisky. Little did I know that Wes (aka @derangedvisions) created the perfect contest to support my photo! #whiskeywednesday
Being a massive whisky fan I will now religiously post to the #whiskeywednesday tag... damn, to be honest, I'll be drinking a single malt anyway.
To be politically correct, I have to point out that I prefer Scottish Single Malt from the Scottish island called Islay, and those Scotts spell their "whisky" without the "e".
Finally a contest for the sophisticated! ;)

Are you sophisticated while you drink your whiskey though? If you are not wearing a top hat and a monocle while listening to classical music, then it is not considered sophisticated. I am not sophisticated, but I think I am going to have to try and find all of those things to get a picture of it for the next #whiskeywednesday.

I definitely feel sophisticated... I wasn't referring to the way I look. ;) That being said, the top hat does sound like a classic idea... I guess my scruffy beard disqualifies me from looking sophisticated from the outset. :|
