Los Whiskochos: We talk about Whisky!

We are Whisky bloggers, tasters, ambassadors and sometimes downright whisky geeks. We write reviews, cover industry news and travel around the world visiting distilleries and learning more whenever we get the chance. Our original video material includes whisky reviews, tasting and distillery visits. We sometimes invite local enthusiasts to join us and be part of the conversation. It's fun. We also like Rum and Mezcal, and wouldn't refuse a few other types of spirits if pressed on that matter.

So why "Los Whiskochos"? We are located in Panama City, Panama and here it is very common to call a drink of whisky "un whiskacho" or "whiskocho". A few drams into the blog name brainstorming session and "Los Whiskochos" were born. We blame the malted barley!

One of our goals is to create a community of whisky enthusiasts in Latin America, starting with our monthly community tasting events in Panama.
