Acne-Prone Skin?
Although acne is usually associated with teen years, it can also happen at any age.
Your acne won't disappear when you reach 20. Acne can occur for many reasons including genetics, lifestyle and fluctuating hormone levels.
What is Acne?
Acne can refer to anything from simple whiteheads and blackheads (comedowns), to more severe papules or painful cysts.
When too much oil and dead cells build up on the skin's pores, it causes red, raised lesions. This triggers the body’s natural inflammatory response. Women may experience acne at the beginning of their period, during pregnancy, and after menopause.
