I have this creeping feeling that a lot of people think that I would be in favor of Whoopi Goldberg being suspended for her asinine comments about the Holocaust -- I'm not.
She's recieved a lot of negative feedback over what she said and rightfully so. On this one issue, I think that that's sufficient.
I'm not a regular viewer of The View and my experience with The View has generally been to find a bunch of morons saying stupid things; but, if The View were to be cancelled entirely because people don't value it, go ahead. Being that people still seem to value it, keep it on the air so smart people can laugh at it.
Remember, people say wrong things. That's part of being human. We make mistakes, and sometimes we believe those mistakes to be justified. We even believe that we're not wrong.
If it were anyone else, I'd imagine they would have made an oopsie long ago and been shooed off to obscurity.
At the end of the day, we shouldn't be supporting cancel culture. People should have the right to express themselves, even if they're wrong.
