Explaining Steemit to my daughter

in whysoserious •  7 years ago  (edited)

I decided to say few words about Steemit to my daughter!

At first she was very interested! She looked like she would be great on this platform and like she's already in deep thoughts about what she could do here.

Then I told her about friendly people and community here.

I had to explain about mutual support and unselfishness.
At this spot, thigh became to be boring to her.

Then I told her about nice rewards that she could get by publishing original content!
Now things became more interesting again!

I said, it's not nice to think on money instead of community!

There is a lot of work to do to get this child on the right way! ;)

The point is, nobody should raise the child to think about money, they should be thinking about friendships and playing.

This is an example for us, grown ups! If we lose the friendly manners on Steemit, we will lose all! Some users are greedy for money, stingy and selfish. I don't know what to say when I see that some people who get very large rewards every day still want that extra 1 $ from @randowhale...

How this could be right?

Thank you!

@dumar022, your daughter is beautiful my friend. The future of steemit looks promising.

I love baby, really smiling up to bloom makes life more meaningful

She will be one month old for 4 days

Mirta is so so cute :))))

:)

What an adorable little girl! And getting such a valuable lesson at such a young age ;) I couldn't agree more @dumar022. If we just try to make a quick buck on steemit, that will not help the platform survive and do well in the long run. In order to ensure it's longterm success I think the best actions we can take are to invest our time in building relationships and seeking out quality content and supporting it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this :)

the first picture like... dude i only understand milk.

omg @dumar022 she is SO beautiful, keep trying you might end up with 4 like me... congratulations!!! -The birth of a child is probably the most amazing event I have ever experienced, and I wouldn't trade that for all the gold or BTC in the world. I have never felt so "High" as the times my children were born, and that "High" well it NEVER goes away. It grows and changes as they grow and change. And you are SO right.. friends, family and love is so much more valuable than a few steem bucks - in fact family and friends are the most valuable commodity on Earth because that is what we are all here for, is to love and help each other... I am sure she is lucky to have you for a Dad. Upvoted resteemed etc blah blah take care my friend

What a darling baby and you are absolutely right!
