Indeed. We can aspire to higher ideals, and push to live by them, but not everyone wants to move in that direction...

    My thinking is that it is well and good and right to be motivated by ideals. But in politics moralizing is not how to work towards them. In politics you must play by the rules of politics. Moralize in the Church.
