The co-founder of Wikipedia has again publicly denounced Kryptowährungen. James Wales said at a European Blockchain conference that the entire digital currency area would be in a bubble that would certainly burst.

James Wales: "Right now, we are in a bubble"

The Wikipedia co-founder spoke at a Blockchain conference in Berlin. During his ' Top secret ' presentation on the Blockshow, Wales called Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency to be a bubble that would inevitably burst.

He also claims that the entire crypto-currency industry is lacking in "real journalism" and that the whole industry must prepare for a shock when the market finally collapses. According to the journal SeekingAlpha, Wales expressed that he had no idea when the bubble would burst:

"The thing with bubbles is that you never know when they will end."

Wales now joins the Crypto critics. The club already includes Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger and Jamie Dimon. But there are also some prominent names in the Crypto Bull camp. Tom Lee, the co-founder of Fundstat, assumes that Bitcoin will reach the end of $2018 25,000, and as soon as the bullish momentum starts, it will only take a few days to get there.

"Right now we're in a bubble. The cryptography is absolutely, definitely in a bubble. I don't think there are many people who would deny it. "
