Aucasaurus

Aucasaurus was a carnivore (meat-eater) that lived in South America (its fossils have been found in the Auca Manhuevo region of Argentina). It lived during the late Cretaceous period, between about 84 and 71 million years ago.

Aucasaurus was closely related to Carnotaurus, but considerably smaller in size. Aucasaurus was about 13 feet (4 meters) long, and stood about 3½ feet (1 meter) tall at its hips. It probably weighed around 1,500 pounds (700 kilograms).
