  • My last post is about world Wildlife day with the theme of the year was Big Cats, so I thought why don't to share something about those big cats in this post.
  • Recently a survey was done by Conservation Assured | Tiger Standards (CS|AT) which reveals that only 13% of tiger conservation areas met the global standard of an accreditation.
  • The survey was conducted at 112th sites located in 11 Tiger range countries, including India.
  • CA|TS is a new conservation tool to set minimum standards for effective management of target species and to encourage assessment of these standards.
  • These standard considers proper implementation of Law against animal hunting, solve general conflict regarding wildlife, engaging local community for welfare of wildlife etc.
