The Sources Of My Free Flowers- Six Wildflower Arrangements That May Inspire You To Make One Yourself!!!

Hello dear Steemians!

Today, I´d like to share the sources of the free flowers that I arrange. We are blessed to be living in a district that is surrounded by fields being tended by the state farmers. Wildflowers grow everywhere, along pathways, in between the wheat fields, along the creek of the Marchfeld Kanal. We are in the outskirts of the Vienna bordering Lower Austria. It offers many recreational possibilities, biking , hiking, nordic walking, horseback riding, and if one is lucky to have friends in the neighboring town, one can make use of the tiny lagoon for a swim.

For me, it depends on whether a person is a dreamer or an idealist. All can see the beauty of the flowers if only they would look through them... wildflowers can show you their true colors, each has their own beauty and characteristics that are mother nature´s best gifts to us. Flowers make us happy and share joy and pleasure right in front of our eyes.

The arrangements I make are usually based on instincts. When I pick the flowers, its arrangement already starts in my hand. I choose which comes in the middle or back when the flowers are taller and according to the color. Various wildflowers do not grow all at once, so I just look at the different contrasting colors I have picekd and see which vase is to be used accordingly.

After gathering the flowers into a bouquet I usually bind them with a twine. It is in your hands that flowers are nicely distributed which I think is better than doing it in a vase ... I am not a florist but for me, the reason is you can control the shape of the arrangement. If I would put the arranged bouquet in a vase, I fill the sides with leaves or whatever is available in the area I picked them.

This is one of the wheat fields in our area with the red poppies and blue corn flowers... the farmers combined the poppy and blue corn seeds when sowing the wheat in the soil.
