Everybody Look What's Goin' Down!
Yes, even you, in the back row!
One of the joys of being so close to this place, is I can run over for an hour, and catch all kinds of fun images.
Urban Arboretum
Twas a nice sunny, 63 day, recently, so I slipped over to Mt. Auburn Cemetery for some shots.
Standing, next to a tree when I shot this. I could hear the clack-clack of a small squirrel clamouring up the tree. My red-tailed friend here, kept bobbing left and right, to see movement.

That's a stunning photo, such a majestic hawk as well. We do not have so many birds of prey in the UK, you might be lucky and see one circling small prey or riding thermals now and again - but you would never find one perched like this - although I assume you were using a pretty good zoom lens for this shot!

well, usually I don't like to brag about my equipment... but I have been told my lens really has a lot of reach. No one complains, and it hits all the right spots!
in all seriousness, I care deeply about wildlife and practice what wildlife photographers call ethical photography. We maintain safe distances, no feeding in the wild, no noises, no flash, etc.
So, yes, I use a 600mm super telephoto lens.
