One of the things I love most about small towns is the sense of community. Williams, Oregon... a lot of folks who live 10-20 miles away from it have never even heard of it. It has a general store, post office, gas station, bar/retaurant, and grange hall.... not much else. Everyone has acreage out here; everyone farms.... everyone comes together.
There is a monthly pancake breakfast and musical jam time at the Grange Hall and city park, and most of the community comes out for it. It's great to see neighbors that know each other, that make time to share in life together, even though all are very busy this time of year.
