Maserati Dreams: How to Create A Win Win Situation
There’s a lot of situations in life and business that relate to win-win, win-lose, and lose-lose.
You want to be in the position that everyone wins. If it’s transaction based, you want the buyer to win, the seller, and any other parties. The terms should be set up in a way that everybody wins.
Having everybody win is a long-term solution for everyone, everybody wins in the long term.
If you get pulled over by the police and they give you a ticket, that’s a win-lose situation because the cops win by getting the payment from the ticket, you don’t get anything but a big fat L.
In the situation of a realtor, a home-owner, and a home buyer, there are three moving parts and the goal would be to get everyone to come out winning at the end of the deal.
Don’t think in terms of competition, think of how you can win with your competitors, how can everyone win together?
If you’re making a decision and the decision isn’t in favor of all the parties, eliminate that option. Find another solution, because there is another one where everyone can win.
Make sure you’re thinking in terms of win-win.
