Steps for setup mikrotik and connecting it :
- Open winbox
- Login
- Open wireless menu and enable on that wireless
- Double click on it, and then go to Scan. and choose what SSID you want to connecting. example, we are choosing SSID called KOMINFO. and then click connect button.
- Dont close dialog box of your wireless, and then back to wireless menu, click Security Profiles tab, then change that Mode to Dynamic Keys, Check list on all Authentication Types, including tkip on Unicast chipers and Group Chipers. put password for SSID you want to connect on WPA Pre-shared keys and re-put on WPA2 Pre-shared keys too. After that click Ok.
- Then go to DHCP Client, and click + icon its mean making a new DHCP client. Choose interface what you using, Im choosing wlan1, cause im using that interface for wireless lan. Apply and then Ok.
- Open terminal and try to ping DNS google. if isnt connecting yet. Go to IP and addresses, and make a new IP address. Choose interface what you'r choosing. And set IP on it, and don't forgot that Subnet Mask too.
- Next, open DHCP Server, and then click DHCP setup its mean making a new DHCP server. Choose interface what you've using, and then next, till finish.
- Try to ping DNS google. if its still timeout, try to relog, and then see that ARP.
- Open Firewall, and then NAT, choose that chain in srcnat, and that Out. Interface is wlan1, what interface you'r using. Go to action tab and choose Masquerade.
- Try to opening Command Prompt and checking that ping. In my case, because that trouble connection , i cant properly got fast ping on it. but its honestly worked. As you can see.
