How-To: Cortana und Windows Web-Suche komplett deaktivieren

Auch wenn in den Windows 10 Datenschutz Einstellungen die Spracherkennung von Cortana deaktiviert wurde, ist die Eingabe in das Suchfeld immer noch mit einer Websuche verbunden.

Abstellen lässt sich das in der Registry indem ein DWORD-Wert Namens „AllowCortana“ mit dem Wert 0 in folgendem Pfad angelegt wird:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Search

Die Änderung ist auch über den Import eines REG Keys möglich: ftp://ftp.heise.de/pub/ct/spezial/CortanaGehWeg.zip
