Splattered Toad and Pork Chops!!
A Splattered Toad does not sound nice, but this is actually the name of a Gold Medal winning Shiraz wine of 2017!! My wife and I were visiting friends, where we were having a nice braai and some nice wine!!
I just love the graphics on the label, showing a toad on a motorbike. delivering a letter!!
On the label you can see that this wine comes in a 750ml bottle and sports an alcohol content of 13.5%!! You can also read the tragic story of where the wine got its name from. In short the toads migrate to the ponds where they mate and in the process, they get run over by cars!! Some of the proceeds of this wine goes to the protection of these toads, thus I basically did a good deed, protecting the toads, by buying and drinking this wine!!
We did not only drink wine we also braai-ed some meat and had some pap (Maize meal porridge) and salad to go with the meat.
The food, meat and company was great and we had a very enjoyable evening visiting with some good friends around the braai fire.

This wine is looks good and the bike picture i can recognise it! Its from the company of Honda 50cc bike, my father owe one of it and we can fun by ride with father. May be it not the same company bike but design just copy. 13.5% alcohol for wine its great for soak your throat. Have a nice day.
