⭐WINE 101 WEDNESDAY- Sparkling Rosès to Impress Her (or Him!) With!⭐

Happy Valentine's Day Steemians!

I figured with the week's WINE 101 falling on Valentine's Day I should talk about how to impress! Whether you celebrate this day or not, at least use it as an excuse to enjoy some wine! At the restaurant that I Somm at, I chose to feature bubbles tonight (surprise surprise), but specifically ROSÉ sparkling wines. If you're going out to celebrate this day with someone, why not pop a bottle beforehand and start celebrating early! I've put together a few options for you to consider:

Bird in Hand Sparkling Pinot Noir - $20

This wine is a steal and such a people pleaser! Pleasant notes of strawberries and cherries with a soft floral undertone, it's a perfect wine to kick off pre-dinner celebrations! It's also one of Australia's top-selling sparkling wines and has won numerous awards - you can't really go wrong with that!

Joie 'Plein de Vie' Sparkling Rosè - $23

Coming from the Naramata Bench in British Columbia, Joie created this wine in celebration of their new tasting room. Made from Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, you get bright notes of strawberry and cranberry, followed by a subtle note of sage that is typical of the Okanagan Valley. Plein de Vie means 'full of life', so I think that's reason enough to open a bottle!

Domaine Carneros Brut Rosè Cuvèe - $50

Domaine Carneros is based out of California, but is owned by Taittanger. This Pinot Noir based bubble has notes of peaches and cream, roses, strawberries, and red currents. At $50, you're not breaking the bank but you're sure to impress!

Moët & Chandon Rosè Impèrial - $80

Having been around almost 300 years, this Champagne House knows what they're doing! Notes of citrus, rose petal, strawberry, and fresh brioche fill your palate, and the creamy texture of it brings it to a new level of sexy! You're sure to impress with this one.

Bollinger Brut Rosè - $120

If I'm looking to impress at a party or even want to class up a picnic, this is what I tend to grab. So why not for Valentine's Day too? Another famous Champagne House, Bollinger started creating this Rosè in 2008 and since then it's been a image of quality sparkling rosè wine! This will pull at your purse strings a little more, but trust me, it's worth every penny!

I hope whatever you chose to do today is made enjoyable by popping open one of these gems! If you're a hater of Valentine's Day, then I hope you at least enjoy getting a little drunk on these while watching a very violent slasher movie... 🔪🔪🔪

Thanks for reading and enjoy!

Wine like no other. Happy valentine....hope you are enjoying yourself

Grand wine collection. Can't wait to have a sip

I will really love to have a taste of that wine

Interestingly rich wine bottles you got
Wish I could purchase some
Wish you the best of luck

Of all of them, the Moet and Chandon Rose Imperial is my favourite. And you do aptly describe it right when you said:

Having been around almost 300 years, this Champagne House knows what they're doing! Notes of citrus, rose petal, strawberry, and fresh brioche fill your palate, and the creamy texture of it brings it to a new level of sexy! You're sure to impress with this one.

But I didn't get a little drunk from it. No! I got drunk from another kind of wine - can't say here!

But thanks @travelingsomm for your beautiful Val's celebration.

nice work :) ...
good choices...

Wow, interesting , to me they re very expensive though because i don't have the ability to buy it but if i would make any suggestion i would definitely tell anyone who wants to have a good time to grab any of the bottles. Wine has significant impression wherever it is present. It could be use to show love, to celebrate, to make peace, to feel once self. Whatever reason it might be, just enjoy your day and drink responsibly. Thanks for the nice post.

Happy Valentine day... Thanks for the post

:( I haven't tried any of those. I'm so uncivilized.

Happy belated Valentine’s Day @travelingsomm!🌹 In my previous working place, my boss was fanatic about champagnes, and we received every Christmas different bottle of Champaign. I would also recommend Moët & Chandon Rose. 🥂 🍾
