Today, at what might have been one of the last summery nights of the year I had myself a barbeque, with a good bottle of rose wine.
It was an unknown bottle, A Spanish Rosé, Tempranillo, and a delightful 10.5% rather than the many overpowered wines that exist these days.
It was very drinkable, and almost somewhat fizzy, a little on the sweet side, but with a barbeque that is never a bad thing. It was not an exceptional wine and did not have any specific characteristics worth mentioning, but nevertheless, good enough for the occasion.
I hope to have many more of these this year.
Cheers
