Social media has been taken over by memes and videos of a girl winking and you were probably thinking who is she?

The girl is a model and actor named Priya Prakash Varrier, and the meme is from a clip from the video of the song titled “Manikya Malaraya Poovi” from South Indian director Omar Lulu’s upcoming Malayalam film “Oru Adaar Love.” The music video was released on Youtube on February 9 and have immediately went viral all over India with 5.5 million views on Youtube till date.

The clip features high school seniors looking at each other amid a large crowd and the girl making very ‘unique’ eyebrow gestures towards the boy.The boy then gushes as the girl winks at him and a romantic tune starts playing in the background.

This storm also hit other South Asian countries including Bangladesh where some netizens are absolutely loving her and other keyboard warriors are trolling the clip.

However Priya’s girl-next-door looks, expressions and playful wink catapulted to stardom overnight. She is already the #NationalCrush on social medias including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. According to a NewsX report, she even became the most searched person on Google on February 11.

The 18-year old girl from Thrissur, Kerala is now world’s 3rd highest celebrity on Instagram with more than 606K followers on a single day. Priya is now only next to American model and television personality Kylie Jenner who holds the record with 806K followers on a single day followed by famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo with 650K followers. She has a follower count of more than 1.1 million and counting on Instagram.

“Oru Adaar Love,” slated to be released on March 03,2018, is Priya Prakash Varrier’s debut feature length film. She is also a ramp model, classical dancer. Her first media appearance was through a South Indian short film titled “Third Flip.”

Even Priya herself is overwhelmed by the massive response, the numerous Twitter accounts being made with her name and took to Twitter and wrote: “Thanks for Oru Adaar Love, I am stunned by the Over whelming Support across Social Media. Never knew my debut could be a National Trend #PriyaPrakashVarrier. Grateful to Omar Lulu Sir. Realized already so many twitter accounts of mine doing rounds.”
