Hey! How’s it going?! -- it’s official the end of the week, it’s an exciting start to the weekend what with the Winter Olympics kicking of soon (about an hour here in the uk) and last night having a blast on dlive, my first video post did really well too (thank you @dlive) so that’s really picked me up.

Actually now combined with my residuals from skillshare/udemy adding a seven day financial incentive to streaming as well is a big deal. Let’s consider this for a moment, Adsense for google and twitch don’t do weekly payouts, once people start to understand the steem blockchain they will be flocking to the decentralised platforms - the time is now people! today! :)

Kinda pumped about the Winter Olympics, I’ve always loved any time of ‘games’ and as a kid I watched them all for hours in a day, all kinds, was not picky just anything where I could see the skill and the talent. For me I’ve always loved the way that the BBC ‘cast’ these things with some of the best talent in the business, that and the awesome camera shots/curation.

This week really piled in but I’m glad to see I’m still on target, the car is out (needs cleaning bad) and all being well in the next few weeks that can be all sorted and we can be back on the road and out, getting in some early morning miles and taking in some lovely views of the Peak District along the route, going into march that would be divine, can’t wait to share that with you guys too, we going exploring! :)

I made some progress with my dynamic covers last night in OBS — finally got a way to quickly setup a scene for recording an animated gif quickly so I have a thumbnail image that uploads with my dlive post and for my blog post, I’m super picky about that stuff so anything that speeds that up is awesome in my book — doing a tutorial video on that today.

I got asked in the comments this morning about video chat and OBS and I can’t wait to step through that video with you as well, i’ll be hosting some drop in video chat sessions on dlive and you can take part! I need to really put together a proper ‘topics’ schedule and when it’s ‘quiet’ i’ll just be blogging on steemit anyway, I’m gonna come up with a neat way of showing that on screen.

Oh that reminds me, I totally forget how useful two or more screens are for doing live streaming otherwise you have the problem where you see the repeating screens, I’ve gotta pick up another monitor that I can position in portrait mode to help with all the elements of discord, chat, obs, tinkering off screen and eventually build up to gaming — I need a new rig for that.

Alright, that’s my catchup for the morning, gotta go do the pots so I can make @dayleeo (the love went and got wine and treats for us both last night!) breakfast, I’m sure she’s hungry and needing coffee about now! :)
