It is pretty cold today, -30° at this moment. Good news is that we are about to get a few days break from this! 2 days of balmy -10° are coming after today!!
BUT today....it is mostly hibernation day, except for this quick trip outside:
We ventured out with a kettle of boiling water and CAREFULLY and quickly tossed the water into the air. It freezes almost instantly! It was really cool haha!! Check it out:

There are other videos of the same experiment, some in colder weather that look epic! Next temperature dip I will be doing it again for sure, it was fun!

We have had a really mild winter so far.. last year this time we had 3' of snow. The 3" we got has melted! lowest we have been is 5. Keep bundled up and stay close to the fire.
