Tis the season for dry cracked itchy skin.
Vaseline is a popular one.
The pharmacist recommended this. It has worked well for me.
Another one recommended is good for hands. I does leave a greasy residue.
The wife likes this for her face.
This like it says is good for hands.
This in my opinion is good if your skin is not very dry.
There are many lotions and creams to choose from. Each one has a claim to be the best stuff available. Take it from someone that has tried many different brands and formulas. They are not all "created equal". Creams seem to be the better way to go if you don't mind the greasy feel and some getting on your clothes. Lotions are fine if you have moderately dry skin. Most have ingredients I can't pronounce or spell.
According to: https://www.everydayhealth.com/news/the-5-best-lotion-ingredients/ the five best ingredients are,
Ceramides. ...
Essential fatty acids. ...
Glycerin, glycols, and polyols. ...
Hyaluronic acid. ...
Sodium PCA.
What ever you choose do some research and choose what works for you. As some would say you get what you pay for.
@pastorike
I hope to be out of here soon. Maybe I can escape the dry skin there.
