That does look good. So, I take it from your use of 'stumpy' that it is indeed a shorter blade and not an image optical illusion of some kind? I may have missed another post, but I imagine there's a reason for it. Seems like it would change the balance somewhat, wouldn't it?

Yep it is a shorter one, for no particular reason than the bar of steel I had was short š
As for balance, the handle is going to be a bit revolver-like, that will either balance everything nicely or screw everything up. We just have to wait and see š
