Tidak hanya masyarakat sekitar, bahkan warga pesisir Aceh lainnya beramai-ramai pergi ke lokasi dimaksud baik memang sengaja menuju puncak Gunung Salak, atau pun hanya sekadar melewati menuju Aceh Tengah atau Kabupaten Bener Meriah.
Sejak lebaran ini keramaian semakin terlihat di kawasan Gunung Salak. Deretan kendaraan dengan berbagai jenis terlihat menuju lokasi dimaksud, baik kendaraan roda dua maupun roda empat.
Namun menuju lokasi dimaksud harus ekstra hati-hati karena selain ramai kendaraan, juga jalannya sangat menanjak serta jalan yang sangat menurun mengikuti relief gunung. Apalagi ditambah dengan kondisi jalan yang padat terutama saat-saat liburan lebaran.
"Kendaraan dengan kondisi mesin kurang sehat akan kesulitan pada jalan yang menanjak. Terutama mobil, jika tidak sanggup menanjak, harus membuka kap mesin karena panas mesin saat mendaki.
