The letter to the Corinthians tells us of a mysterious and secret wisdom that does not belong to the world or to the rulers of this age, here Paul is referring to the wisdom that comes from philosophy or the knowledge of philosophers, a hidden wisdom since the creation of the world, remember that when Jesus refers to the kingdom of God he tells us that the kingdom is like a pearl of great price, a hidden treasure: "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field." Matthew 13:44.
About God and his wisdom the bible explains: "Who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see.", 1 Timothy 6:16
Paul is explaining to us that the mystery of creation cannot be reached with simple philosophical knowledge: "We do however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we declare God's wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined to our glory before time began.", 1 Corinthians 2:6-7.
Wisdom is the science of the last and first causes, it is also the knowledge of the correct means to live. Wisdom has two sources: human experience and divine inspiration: listen (perceive with attention), meditate with intuition and inspiration, decide with discernment and creativity.
Jesus gives us some examples of this wisdom, Jesus is precise and exact, Jesus seeks the truth:
"At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, ´Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?´ They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, ´Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.´ Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there." John 8:1-9
