The wisdom of King Solomon: Every man under his vine and under his fig tree, all the days of Solomon. 1 Kings 4:25

Thomas Aquinas in his Book Summa Theologica explained that everyone unanimously desires happiness, this is clearly a philosophical truth, but what no one agrees on, is how to achieve this beautiful and desired happiness.
The Bible with its stories shows perhaps the most direct and brief path for all human beings to be happy; that is why the sacred scriptures teach men to seek wisdom as the most precious good, and that all human actions must be subordinated to this perfect science. The wisdom is the knowledge of the correct means to live, and the science of the first and ultimate causes according to the philosopher Aristotle.
And the best example of this spiritual truth was King Solomon who with his wisdom established an era of knowledge, peace, prosperity, and well-being such as had never existed, before or since, in the Middle East.
This is how the First Book of Kings describes this time of blessing, where not only a King was blessed and happy, but also the entire nation of Israel, which he governed with his goodness and mercy (compassion, kindness, gentleness):
"The people of Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand on the seashore; they ate, they drank and they were happy. And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These countries brought tribute and were Solomon's subjects all his life.
Solomon's daily provisions were thirty cors of the finest flour and sixty cors of meal, ten head of stall-fed cattle, twenty of pasture-fed cattle and a hundred sheep and goats, as well as deer, gazelles, roebucks and choice fowl. For he ruled over all the kingdoms west of the Euphrates River, from Tiphsah to Gaza, and had peace on all sides. And Judah and Israel lived in safety, from Dan even to Beersheba, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, all the days of Solomon" 1 Kings 4:20-25.
