Christian studies: Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the LORD

The Psalm 107 is a song, a praise, to the wonders of the Lord, the psalm is dedicated to the providence of God in the history of man, God is merciful and grants his gifts to those who seek him. God is the source of all perfection and in particular of the good: "Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever", Psalm 107:1.
The gift of fear of God (constancy, firmness, devotion, equanimity, stability) is the way to salvation, that is, the fullness of spiritual and material goods in man: "Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle.", Psalm 107:6-7.
In addition, the Psalm tells us, God with his wisdom illuminates the reason of men and frees them from the slavery of error and sin: "Then their cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.", Psalm 107:13-14.
Those who keep his teaching in mind are blessed and escape the curse of ruin, the proud instead receive punishment: "He who pours contempt on nobles made them wander in a trackless waste. But he lifted the needy out of their affliction and increase their families like flocks. The upright see and rejoice, but all the wicked shut their mouths.", Psalm 107:40-42.
But it is the wise man whom God chooses to guard all his treasures, because it is the wise man who best understands the mysteries of wisdom, the mysteries of Providence: "Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the LORD.", Psalm 107:43

The psalm is a review of the foundations of the doctrine of the Kingdom of God that Jesus will retake in the Gospels.
