@jhoneil wow, she really a creepy and scary witch. Look at her eyes, seems like she was up to something. I love how you draw her face expression, the scary and cunning look, you have presented it well. Together with that 2 evil look squirrel (hope I get it right) or monkeys.
Wondering what would she up to with the expression of her face, show something not good.

Haha. They are lemurs but I would not mind if people think they are evil squirrels or monkey.

Opps @jhoneil, no wonder they have that look hehehhe..

Wow thanks so much!

I'm fascinated by transgressive art, the art that comes out to slap "avant-garde" art that says it's beautiful.

the natural of the body with its marks, beautiful striae, on the other hand the moment that expresses malice and picardia I like the disposition of the animals, is as if I was about to cast a spell.

I like the illumination of the piece behind creating the shadows ahead, the best tones achieved impossible.

excellent work, thank you for sharing this beautiful creation

greetings, peace and love

She looks cute yet mystical, with a bit of a sly look in her eyes. She wanna cast some spell? I love how the color of her hair compliments the color of her skin (well, not quite but you get, right?) And even the leaves...

I like the greenery behind her and how so e of them are shaped like owls...

The freckles on her face, the folds on her stomach (and even stretch marks?), I love how all of those things didn't seem to stand in the way of her beauty...

Whats Ophelia's character like?

Wow, that Ophelia looks like she's ready to avenge her father's death.

Great illustration, her look warns you that she's about to do something ;)

The bright colors and contrast. The smug look on the main character's face. I can't tell which part my eyes should be admiring with the awesome detail you've placed on this creation. It's amazing! the artistry and technique. Though I'm not quite sure how critique the context?

Congratulations @jhoneil!

That is may fit to our reality when the average female after 30 has a bit of overweight, that is real modern model. You created very well a nude model, paid attention to proportion of the body, like the way you did fingers holding a book. Cute face with Freckles, looks cheerful, happy girl.

Is this digital art? I'm sorry but I can't really see it :)

The girl is beautiful. She looks like so many women. Her breasts and bally look real as well as her marks. I like her freckles and her hair color. I also like the way her hair is done.

She looks like she likes nature and nature likes her. I first didn't notice the owls behind her but then I saw their eyes. I thought they were part of the tree because of their color :)

And look at those monkeys! They are so funny. The first one looks a little angry and the second one a little confused I would say. And that birdo peacefully resting on her hand - very nice.

I like the theme, the colors, the light and actually everything :)

Thank you for sharing! Happy Wednesday!

Thank you so much! This was inspired by the painting “Ophelia” and also by the movie “the witch”.
It was really fun to work on and I’m glad you enjoyed it.

First look at who you have inspired, because I do not know much about art.

I liked what you did. giving your personal touch the face as the hands transmit malice to me. I do not know if that was your goal but in my cause that effect. good job. congratulations for the curie vote

This is awesome! How did you create it? Was it digital or hand painted? I love the color of her hair the creatures around her. It look like a vulture directly behind her? The owls are fantastic.

I ran into a relative of the lemur family while I was in Costa Rica this summer. I was driving and trying to fly my drone when this wild Coati showed up out of no where hahaha I was a little to scared to get out and interact with it but it was very interesting to see.

Kind of off topic LOL but I wanted to give you some appreciation for you artwork. She's a devilish looking witch. It's very lovely. Cheers!

I was at the Met recently and saw a few paintings by Pierre Auguste Cot and I thought they were amazing and so I googled more of his work and this one, “Ophelia” stood out for me. I decided to make my own version and copied the lighting. The animals are selected because I have photos of those. This is digital by the way.

Ooooo! Great inspiration! I love how you've replicated the way she's holding the book and looking at the camera (or spectator, however it's best described). Very well done!
