Witchcraft in the bible: Practiced divination and witchcraft, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists

The Bible considers witchcraft and consulting mediums as a form of idolatry: "Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God," Leviticus 19:31.
Witchcraft in the New Testament is a work of the flesh, a fruit of a life full of sins: "The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God," Galatians 5:19-21.
In the Bible, many kings of Judah and Israel who did evil in God's eyes practiced this ancient art, In the Bible, necromancy is associated with the worship of foreign Gods, most likely of the Canaanite and Phoenician peoples: "They forsook all the commands of the LORD their God and made for themselves two idols cast in the shape of calves, and an Asherah pole. They bowed down to all the starry hosts, and they worshiped Baal," 2 Kings 17:16.
Saul was the first: "When Saul saw the Philistine army, he was afraid; terror filled his heart. He inquired of the LORD, but the LORD did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets. Saul then said to his attendants, ´Find me a woman who is a medium, so I may go and inquire of her.´" 1 Samuel 28:5-7.
Also the king Manasseh: "He sacrificed his children in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced divination and witchcraft, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, arousing his anger," 2 Chronicles 33:6.

In the Bible the connection with the spiritual world is through the prophets. Prophecy is not necromancy, nor divination, prophecy is a spiritual gift by which God reveals the hidden of the Providence: "Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets" Amos 3:7.
