Brilliant post, magick is most definitely more ART than almost anything else. It's also highly personal so it's totally ridiculous that people get uptight and try to tell other people how to do it correctly.
Obviously, sharing our technique and experiences is a wonderful way to spread knowledge and help the less experienced practicioners but this isn't Hogwarts.

Thank you, and indeed: magick is very personal and definitely more art than anything else; I do believe Alan Moore pretty much expressed that sentiment in one of his interviews. However, you do bring up an important point: just because we can share what we know, and it is always good to help those learning, this ultimately doesn't mean one is obligued to reveal EVERYTHING about their practices or even school others. If one does want to take on such a role, then I see it perfect; but I've also seen some posts from people who either don't want to learn at all other than just exploring their UPGs or who try and force others to share knowledge with them. It's actually a point I'd like to touch in another article when possible.
Once again, thank you for all and blessings upon you in this Imbolc ^^
