[Witness Update] First Block Witnessed, Un-Resteem Issue, Block Size

I finally witnessed my first block last night, and although I was excited about it, it was a bit too late to write a solid witness update, so I waited until now. Instead I decided to share a beautiful poem accompanied by some artwork here much better choice for 2am.

So, as some of you may know, I actually had the chance to witness my first block the other day but missed it... How embarrassing 🤕 ! Gladly it seems it may have just been bad luck or some simple configuration screw up. I must have put a decimal point in the wrong place or something. Shit! I always do that. I always mess up some mundane detail. I defiantly relieved that everything I set up is working and going strong, all I need now is more witness votes 😉 so if you haven't already go vote!

Un-Resteem

I know that this has been mentioned before, actually an issue was submitted last year in October here but still hasn't been resolved. The reason I bring this up is that a post I Re-Steemded as part of my UpVote Initiative was proven to be plagiarism. (Seen Below)

I, of course, down voted it and the appropriate action was taken, however it remains on my feed. Without a Un-Resteem option available this post will sit on my feed indefinitely. I'm not the first one ☝️ to have this happen to them I'm sure and I feel it really should be something discussed for the next hard fork. I understand that there is more involved then just taking it off and some though has to go into how these actions are handled but I do feel just like un-upvoting and un-downvoting it should be an option.

I will do more research into whether this is on the roadmap or being worked on as we speak. If it is already being worked out I'll be glad to hear it and will update this post accordingly.

Block Size

I have decided to update my witness parameter maximum_block_size to 131072

Changing the max block size from 65536 to 131072 will double the amount of bandwidth that users are given. This should allow all accounts that are created with the current account creation fee (6 STEEM) to fully interact with the blockchain without running into bandwidth limitations (assuming they are not using the system excessively).

After reading @timecliffs post I agree and will be making the witness update shortly after this post.

Congrats for setting everything up. I today have voted for two amazing people as witnesses. The other one is @timcliff .

I support the Un-Resteem option to undo such a move which can be embarrasing. @blueorgy , you can always resteem my posts with 100 % faith that I honor the Steemit and blogging ethichs.

I am also incredibly happy that I have completed my first month on Steemit! and I have shared my experience in unique numbers. Please resteem it even and I assure you that you won't have to think of unresteeming at all. Thank you!

Unresteem vote! I was new and resteemed some stuff and now I can't get it off. But someone resteemed one of my posts and it showed me that they had and then it just disappeared like they took it off. But I didn't think that was possible...

Interesting... I don't think that's available currently, I wonder what happened
