Hey @timcliff! I bet there are people that do not understand what Witness is despite having randomly voted some people who were asking really hard for their vote. Is it bad to just vote for someone who is asking not knowing what it is just to be kind? I gather it is just recognition as a "somebody" on Steemit, or are their duties that go along with it. Never really got it beyond you vote and its like an elected temporary thing? As short as you can, what is a witness please?
