Technical and Economical
- kept my witness node running smoothly, with no missed blocks
- updated my price feed bias at 0%, SBD is back to the peg
- kept my SBD APR at 1%
- kept my account registration fee at 0.1 STEEM, (I use a script called steem witness toolbox, available for free on Github, for publishing the feed price and adjusting a few blockchain props)
- kept the block size at 65,536

I''m currently sitting at 59th position in the witnesses ranking, same as last week.
Hi @dragosroua
When I try to vote, I got the following message :
RPCError: Assert Exception:o.weight ! =0: Vote weight cannot be 0.
How can I solve this problem ?
Thank you.

Probably you already voted for 30 witnesses? I didn't encounter that error so far.

No I voted only for you,
This when I voted for post that the error occured.
When I modify the scroll bar to lower than 100 % , I can vote but the post reward is not increasing.
Very strange bug, several people got it if you look in the search bar.

I am sure you are aware once again of the uptick in account phishing. Any chance of getting together with a group of witnesses to present a solution to STINC to help shut these accounts down. I do not know if it will work, but a group of individuals that are trusted delegates of STINC to freeze the STEEM POWER of questionable accounts . Not shuting them down, just disabling them until an investigation can take place. It is my understanding that with no STEEM POWER, an individual can not comment, vote or make any wallet transactions, because STEEM POWER is needed to provide the Bandwidth needed for these actions. Just a thought that maybe could be brought up at any witness meetings/chats that take place.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will think about it. As you know, starting with HF 20, a new resource credits system will replace the current bandwidth allocation system, and that should streamline the activities on the blockchain.

Do you think the RCS will make it easier to suspend accounts or make it more difficult, is suspending accounts even possible? I know if the account is created through steem, they can remove the delegation. Just a little concern about the Resource Credit System. I do not want to make it difficult for new users, but on the other hand I do not want to make it easier for troll type activity accounts.

A decentralized social media app has some very serious differences from a centralized one. There isn't really a "central point" that can block / unblock accounts, all accounts are freely created on blockchain. Their fraudulent behavior then must be enforced in a de-centralized way too, so building an authority that would have the power to suspend accounts doesn't seem the right path to me.
It takes a while to adjust to this new way of behaving and when you get the gist of it, you realize that protecting from the bad guys is a community effort. Some members of the community are more prominent and visible on this specific activity (like @arcange, or @cheetah or @steemcleaner) while others, like me, prefer to educate, educate, educate a lot. Because, no matter how many scams are running around, you can't be scammed if you're an informed, educated person.
Both approaches work, each in its own way.

So, what would be the decentralized way of punishing fraudulent behavior? I agree, it doesn't seem right that it be Steemit Inc., or necessarily a majority of witnesses, be it simple, supermajority or absolute. There's still power being concentrated among 20.
But what then becomes the decentralized way? Everyone casting a vote until we get to a majority? I'm not sure what the mechanism is. I just know it would be nice to have one, and if it already exists, to educate people about it and implement it.
