I also agree with you on some parts. Here I take the difference between them:
"First of all, it is not mentioned in the essay that the common goal of both intelligent and wise is to be able to act in an unknown situation."
For me Intelligence is the ability to find more solution. While wisdom comes from experience. Wisdom is the knowledge we gain from past situations.
I think the "purpose" of intelligence and wisdom is problem solving.
To illustrate the difference suppose we have two individuals of the same intelligence who are asked to do sophisticated work.
Which with wisdom will do the job better, because he has done similar work before and can apply that knowledge to this work (this is what you point).
In other words, for me intelligence is the ability to find solutions, while wisdom is the knowledge we have gained from past experiences to solve a particular problem.
This is a very good thought to start my day! Also I would like to thank you for supporting so many steemians!
