A witness replay with the mira feature enabled takes up to four days. It's not an instant process. I can't make it go any faster.
Right now our backup server is back online with the mira feature disabled.
Since I can't do magic, please stop unvoting the witness because you see it down for a day. The same goes for everyone else running their witnesses who needed a replay. Everyone is in the same boat. No one is quitting.
The fact that every HF I end up posting a message that no one is quitting is quite absurd. No one is quitting.

The new mira-enabled nodes require much smaller servers and are very cost effective. Witnesses will be able to afford to run them and their backups.

Yes. The new configuration allows for a witness at about 6gb. This is exponentially smaller than the previous configuration that required either a 64gb server or a smaller server with some customization. We're talking something that now costs an average of $50/month to run and that's being on the high side. We're not talking big money here. It's the average cost of a normal hobby.

So far I haven't even heard of any witnesses quitting because of the HF. On the contrary, the smaller server requirements will inspire old ones to come back.

I've got mira disabled running on the backup as of now but that's not sustainable. Mira is great once its all replayed and running.

Yea - and also mostly for heavy load scenarios. Poor witnesses like me don't need MIRA for now :)
