SMTs are again not immune to human nature!
Nothing on this is earth is.
However, yes, SMTs shall add an entire new array of liberties to people, thus adding to the decentralization process.
Once again, this shall open new potential "issues" all of which shall be a result of human nature and not coding. Codes/scripts can be "fixed"/"patched".
No such thing as "Utopia", it is a magical theory that many out there have abused in the name of "greed".
When I say the word "greed" in its intended negative manner, it is because it clearly includes all the negative connotations which always result in someone being "damaged" in the name of someone elses financial gains.
Hence, when the drive for "riches" results in the love of money for itself, there is no boundary that a person shall cross, there is no person that a person won't hurt and destroy in the name of their own personal "need" for more money!

There are no silver bullets..its a messy process to get a better system.
