Witness Stats has received an update!

Just wanted to announce to the Steemiverse that my Witness Stats website is currently using/testing SteemIt's new json-rpc endpoint. The website might see some intermittent downtime when SteemIt is performing development updates to the server, however, the response time of the website should be GREATLY improved.

Please let me know in the comments or on SteemIt Chat if you have any questions or issues with the website.

Keep your eyes open for some awesome new SteemIt based developments coming soon :)

This is good, but it doesn't show proxy votes. Abit does vote my witness, but it doesn't show up on the site because he votes by proxy.

Was just talking about adding proxy support today.

I love this page, I use it a lot. I didn't even know it was yours. I didn't mind the colors, but when I've shared the page to others they said they didn't like the colors but I understand where they were coming from. Thanks for such a useful tool!

I am really curious. I am in general curious how STEEMIT will change and evolve in 1-2 years. I hope it gets a better and better backend. I mean I like this one, but in comparison with shitty Facebook, something is missing.

...hard to say if it is just style... I don't know actually what it is :-/

unless you are a developer the backend shouldn't really be much of a concern. if you mean this website (SteemIt) that is a frontend application that uses an RPC node (steemd) to operate.

But yes, the backend is getting improvements that should make all applications run faster.

keep up the great work

Good stuff man. How do you update the Steemd version it's pulling for the witness? We're running 0.19.2

It is automatic when you witness the first block it will show.

That's what I suspected, thanks.
