Thriving through a Symbiotic Equilibrium
Ecosynthesizer | Major Upgrade

Greetings,

We are more than happy to finally announce that Steem users can now create and push posts directly on the Ecosynthesizer. The tool is pretty straightforward and also provides the choice for users to define beneficiaries in addition to the reward split type. The tool can be accessed directly by clicking on the Create button on the posts page. A direct link to the post creation page can be found here.

In mid-development, we faced an issue related to image hosting. We first tried to check a tool that was made available previously by Steemit Inc. (ImageHoster) that allowed 3rd party projects to directly host images on the servers owned by Steemit Inc., but such a tool is no longer available at the moment. We also did not want to host the images since the goal of Ecosynthesizer at the moment is more oriented toward providing tools and easy access to data than it being a social blogging platform.

That being said, users can still add images hosted on the world wide web without any real issues, and we are already thinking about other solutions that were presented to us, such as hosting the image directly on a service provider such as Imgur. We thought a bit about using IPFS, but it will always come to the same since the files will need to be pinned.

One other thing to mention is that the parser is not fully compatible with the current version of the Condenser. Our initial goal was to keep things simple in order to ensure that all posts pushed through the tool look good on other platforms like Steemit.com, hence the simplicity. But overall, we think that users should not face any issues.

nice work. I think you can upload photos to steemitimages.com, which I use for my dapp.
