That is correct. Anyone can set @witnessvoter as the proxy and earn from the auction.

        Trust me, there is a lot to learn on this platform. I recommend that you read this post from @steem-plus (https://steemit.com/utopian-io/@steem-plus/steemplus-points-calculation).
