I have been EXTREMELY busy lately both on and off Steemit. No longer am I contracting for my current company but a full time employee, and although comes with some great perks, it requires a lot more of my time. So I have been focused on maintaining everything efficiently and multitasking with utmost concentration to decrease downtime.
The other companies I currently run have been taking a bit of a back seat lately but are more set in their way, so less to worry about. I do plan to get back on these at some point and push them forward for growth, because otherwise they are defiantly in decline.
That being said everything witness wise is running beautifully and without issue. I do however need o find a way to move up in the ranks because I am definitely stagnant.
I am currently fluctuating between rank 45-46, I think I can do better, what do you think?
So I will take this time to list out some of my recent doings here on Steemit and too hopefully influence some of you to make on of those precious witness votes for me. I won't go into detail here and I don't want to make this update 15 pages long 😉 so I'll stick to just links and hopefully you'll recognize some of them.
But first most recently I ran a contest to giveaway tickets to STEEMFEST 2 and I actually ended up giving away 3 (I know I'm nuts 😀) because I just couldn't decide! If at all possible I actually may run another contest!

I just do the daily upvote and that's pretty much it. I don't really hangout too much to chat on the Discord server.

And that's the failing of 4600 of 4800 members there. That 2 cent vote is useless, and offers no growth potential. However, the 1100 followers gained by communing and participating in the community, have enabled 80 dollar posts. Thing is I neither communed nor posted for the money, but building relationships was the goal. You can keep taking two cent fish or learn to fish and teach others how to also fish. Your mileage will not only vary, it will increase 1000 fold.

Hey @blueorgy, months ago, I set out on a similar journey, and own a domain where I established a minimum viable prototype for a sort of contest, challenge and game directory for steemit. It is at the domain name "steemchallenge.com" and it remains there in a completely functional but ultimately rough and unfinished prototypical state. If you have any interest in that domain name, DM me in the discord and we might make a deal if you want it. I'll likely never pursue it at this point myself, but I'd like to see such a resource exist. It sounds like you are on that path and underway. Just have to get back on the grind. I think the work you're doing is great, just need to get more exposure out in the steemit universe and being gone for even a little bit I've noticed seems to have an effect.
