Quick Witness Update

My witness is called "steemgigs" to represent "everyone has something to offer".

My witness will soon be temporarily disabled to upgrade to version 20.5. This will require a replay as version 20.4 requires re-indexing the blockchain. I have wanted to wait a bit before upgrading to be sure of stability. Besides, on the last upgrade, i had difficulties and my witness stayed disabled for 3 days.

While it is easy to be discouraged a bit about proceedings with the recent hardfork, there may be no need to be as this can also be time to exert innovation, evolve as a human and create historical use for "great". In deep fact, when you look more intently, the above mentioned aspects, is where "blockchain" can applied as an most-utmostly powerful tool.

The results from the hardfork is better now compared to "day one" and it will get better courtesy of our own beauty. "We take steem to the moon" is the logic. 

The changes aren't extreme in reality. The previous bandwidth also had limits and recharges and was the reason we could use steem for free. Then though, it wasn't obviously recorded "what exhausted what". 

In general, like voting power, there is room to allow for RC(s) to recharge. Well, the "bandwidth" we once had worked in a similar manner.

In truth, i am sure that we will all have enough RC(s) to enjoy the steem blockchain long term as things stabilized and better analytics are attained. 

Plus, there are positives! 

With the recent patches, our ability to interact with steem has been improved. As seen in the screenshot below:

@steemgigs has only 59 SP, yet has allowance for some 90 comments and 438 votes. For "human interaction", this is something.

There is a more recent patch to makes things better and when things appear a bit stable, with more witnesses adopting the new patch, i will disable the "steemgigs" witness temporarily, to apply the recent patches and re-index the blockchain as required. This replay will take hours to complete after my witness has been disabled.

If you have voted on the "steemgigs" witness considering keeping your votes intact as the server will only go offline temporarily, inorder to upgrade.

It will be back up soon.
