After two successful hardforks I'm still running a good working and almost 100% reliable witness still on a rented 6 Core VPS located at a big datacenter in south germany.
Meanwhile I rented another 4 core VPS which runs as cold-standby witness in case I have to do any updates or in case of a failure of the "main witness". Currently it runs as miner node which is in fact totally pointless.

Nach zwei erfolgreichen Hardforks läuft meine witness node noch immer mit fast 100% Verfügbarkeit. Es ist noch immer der gemietet 6 Kern Host in einem Rechenzentrum in München.
Mittlerweile habe ich einen zweite 4 Kern Host gemietet welche als "cold-standby" witness jederzeit in Kürze den Betrieb übernehmen kann. Diese nutze ich als Miner (momentan eher sinnlos) oder während eines Updates der "Haupt-Node" bzw im Fall eines Ausfalls.

Main Node : 6 Core / 30 GB Ram / 2000GB SSD Boosted Harddisk, 1GBit Uplink
Backupnode: 4 Cores / 14GB Ram / 1000GB SSD boosted Harddisk, 100MBit Uplink

Das war es auch schon. Ich freue mich über jedes upvote und noch besser wäre wenn ihr für mich als Witness voten würdet. Das ist ganz einfach geht auf die Seite : https://steemit.com/~witnesses und scrollt nach unten. Evtl bin ich ca Platz 50 dann müsst ihr einfach den kleinen Voteknopf vor dem Name Klicken. Im moment bin ich leider weiter unten, daher einfach "hagie" in das Feld eingeben und Vote drücken.
Achtung ein vote auf diese Post oder einen Kommentar ist nicht ein das gleiche wie eine vote für einen Platz als Witness. Das geht nur über oben beschriebenen Weg.
