It is not @netuoso's fault that we are not on the top 100, it is the stakeholders who decide which witness is where and we lack support as witnesses both from our communities (the small voters) and from the whales who don't know who we are and there are no ways for them to find us because as i understand it, they probably look at who gets a lot of support from his / her community before using their powerfull vote...
The day i have a 1000 minnows votes and whales keep ignoring my efforts then i will worry, as it is now, it is the community who needs to pump our efforts, and there is where we are failing as a community.
We need to instill the sharing and giving spirit, sadly one of the questions i answer the most is:
How much do i get when i vote a witness
Before i used to explain and make posts aobut it, but realized many dont read, they just move according to the: what-is-in-for-me so i stopped and now i just reply: You say thanks for our work.
So don't blame @netuoso or Steemit inc

Smooth is a massive contributor to Steem. He would probably say he doesn't care if he is in the top, but he definitely deserves to be if he wishes so. We aren't all active posters and that's fine

Ahhhhhh, okay. I'm still only new and trying to figure out all the bits and bobs.. I don't quite understand how someone can be a contributor without writing posts. Could someone point me in a direction to find out more about that?
