The way it works is each person is allowed to vote for up to 30 witnesses-> These are the people you want to run the blockchain... Most peoples votes are being used on people who do not even run nodes on steem anymore... These votes dont hurt you but they dont help you either, as you should be VOTING FOR PEOPLE WHO INTEND TO MAINTAIN the blockchain. Esentially when you vote for someone whos not running a node, you might as well be voting for noone, because that witness is not able to process blocks.

long story short we need to get into the top 30 to be consistantly chosen as block producer. We can be running till the cows come home but we need your vote to get there!

SteemEgg is going to be supporting @se-witness supporters out the gate with free upvotes... I have not managed to get something running yet to do this but Its inn my direct todo list...

esentially each day -> steemegg will have a predetermined voting power that it will distribute between anyone who supports se-witness with a witness vote.

Again i havent planed it out exactly but lets just use 10% total voting power -> this would equate to 5 100% upvotes. ->

Now we would calculate contribution % of all total witness votes... (so for instance if you had 10 percent of all of our witness votes -> you would recieve a 50% upvote per day on one of your posts...) because 10 percent of 500 = 50

again this isnt exact so please dont start comming at my throat just yet about free votes, as I dont have anything built yet that will be able to keep everything going... It is the next thing on my to do list...
