#WIWLTKI (What I Would Like To Know Is)

in wiwltki •  8 years ago

I admit one of my biggest faults is that I jump from interest to new interest. I have several interests, but not a lot of time to devote to them.

Hopefully investing time, energy, and brain things to Steemit is something I will stick with for a while.

One reason I believe I will be successful is that there is SO MUCH to learn! I love learning new (to me) things...and learning g more about things that interest me.

I'm thinking about starting a series of posts about "What I would like to know is..." Each post would complete that sentence, then include what I've learned about it.

The first WIWLTKI topic that came to my mind this week is: Who decided women need to wear bras? Why do we need to lift and separate our breasts? Why shouldn't they jiggle a little when we walk? Doesn't that movement stimulate lymph flow...of something?

So stay tuned for upcoming WIWLTKI posts, including one with all you never wanted to know about bras!

the only way to stick with something is by learning to drop everything in your mind and emotions. (like eckhart tolle & mooji teach) in that silence only things arise which are clear intuitive and from the heart. if you focus only on those and don't see time as passing by then you will cut down on the things you do and do only the ones which count and are your natural vibration :-) i had the same problem in the past and i changed a lot because of those spiritual understandings :-)

Thanks for the insight. I've not read Tolle or mooji. I'll check it out.

I think this is a terrific idea for a series!
I also love learning and the challenge of finally "getting it". And because I love learning I'm always trying new things, which means I go from interest to interest until something sticks.
One thing I can say is Steemit is ingrained into my life and I miss it when I'm away.

As for the bra thing... GURL - I need my bra because it helps keep them off my belly preventing them from sweating and getting irritated. Plus - when I wear a really good support bra people tend to think I've lost weight. LOL

You make an excellent point about the bra. I do feel like I look slimmer with a more uplifting style.

about the bras.. i think a lot of clothing is detrimental to our health especially bras for women. they should be wool only and 100% natural without dies. a lot of toxic stuff comes from bad clothing into the skin. i bet a lot of breast cancers come from bad clothing
