What is feminism to me? what I hope to achieve from taking part of the conversation!

Feminism is the advocacy to gain equal right of women to a man. The belief that both have the same equal rights in social political economic and any other right therein is the cause of fight to give women the equal right to hold their position in the society.

There are countries who gave less priority to women and that is the fight all about...I saw writings while reading about the concept of feminism revealing every undesirable acts against woman all over the globe. there are those countries who pay women lesser than the wage of a man. There are also those writings that talks about the countries that don't allow women to drive a car. And there are those by culture woman are just confine domestically in their houses submitting solely to be a wife and a mother...and sometimes sex objects alone. I call these things women oppression.

Absolutely our country is not much of women oppression identified but it is likely to be a practiced domestically but not supported by the government. There are women oppression here too why not? but it is purely a practice of the individual or family tradition...but still the advocacy is to be pushed through. We don't have much group of a feminist here aside from the GABRIELA which aims to involved in campaigns against women trafficking here in the Philippines and other concern empowering women.

Though not much of the problem here, I want to take part in the conversation of pushing the advocacy of feminism since I am a woman and any abusive acts against women is my fight. Taking part in this cause will empower woman to have more awareness of their rights. Treating us to be human...and not just a subject of a figure domestically subject to any violence of the people.

Feminism is not a fight against man. Feminism is an advocacy to empower the women and to have equal right to man. The fight is not for supremacy against man but to have right to be equal. Equal is not base on the basis of physical built up being weaker physically but empowering women to have same rights as man in social political and economic aspect of the society. Giving them such right as man have in terms of holding some public offices and any other rights a "man" as creation perse.

By taking part in the conversation, What am I to expect to achieve?

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT!

By giving my support to the feminism advocacy...I am giving myself the chance to be heard being a women.

I don't want any women to be a subject of any oppression the law of man may give...We are all created equal by God so we must be treated alike fulfling our innate role given by Him...we are not to aim higher than a man...but we aim to be at par as far as our rights are concerned.

Giving our part to an advocacy is giving a part of ourselves to fight against women violence and oppression...

It is time to wake up to our dream reality that men and women are should be treated alike in the basis of any rights express by law or implied of being a "human"

Let's all be humane...

It is a panoramic view to wake up in a society with no violence and noone is oppressed...

Take part in the advocacy of "FEMINISM"! for a better world to live in...

happy women day's @baby07

Thanks for advocating for women, and feminism.

It's difficult to ask people to address the issues surrounding feminism in part because people are afraid to admit their part of oppression. I feel like we need to have the uncomfortable conversations, talk about our role in oppression and face the challenges of patriarchy.

I feel like admitting bias is a good start, acknowledging that we have biases against women, then making our best effort to set aside those biases and listen with genuine interest, setting aside whatever opinions we may have and hearing women is a good place to start, further uplifting women's voices and holding space for their work.

wow very well written dear, keep it up! proud to be a woman :) @baby07

@CowPuncher

People always laugh when I tell them I'm a 'Feminist'. But to me a 'Feminist' is someone who wants Women to be on a Equal playing in all facets of Life.

And I believe in that so I'm a Feminist ( at least that is what my wife says :) )
